| Description | Shell up to ca. 8 mm high, weakly inflated, right valve slightly more convex than left one, circular, nearly equivalve and equilateral, auricles strongly unequal (ratio 5:3), umbonal angle ca. 90 degrees, brightly uniform of colour, sometimes with whitish spots. Both valves sculptured with 22-25, regularly spaced radial ribs. Anterior auricle of left valve broadly cancellated. Byssal notch moderately deep, byssal fasciole narrow. Functional ctenolium on suture (4-5 teeth). |
