| Description | Shell small up to ca. 3 mm high, fragile, semi-transparent, weakly inflated, circular, inequivalve, almost equilateral, valves equally convex, auricles dissimilar in shape, anterior auricle of rv considerable larger than posterior one, umbonal angle ca. 110 degrees, translucent white. Left valve with commarginal lamellae in early growth stage, and radial ribs (commencing with ca. 15, increasing to ca. 30 marginally). Right valve with commarginal lirae throughout disc. Byssal notch shallow, byssal fasciole lacking. Internal riblets 10-11, plus a few rudimentary. |
