| Description | Shell small up to ca. 7 mm high, weakly inflated, nearly circular, inequivalve, slightly equilateral, auricles unequal in size, umbonal angle ca. 115 degrees, semi-transparent, opaque whitish. Left valve covered with regularly spaced commarginal lamellae and irregularly spaced radial riblets (reticular sculture) Anterior auricle with prominent commarginal lamellae, weak on posterior auricle. Right valve with closely spaced knotted commarginal lirae. Byssal notch shallow, byssal fasciole narrow. Internal riblets lacking. |
