| Description | Shell small up to ca. 5 mm high, fragile, semi-transparent, strongly inflated, circular, slightly inequivalve, equilateral, auricles unequal in size and shape, umbonal angle ca. 100 degrees, colour whitish. Left valve sculptured with widely spaced commarginal lamellae, more closely spaced near ventral margin. Delicate intercostal radial lines. Anterior auricle with prominent commarginal lamellae, finer on posterior auricle. Right valve with closely spaced, commarginal striae. Byssal notch deep. Internal riblets lacking. |
