| Description | Shell up to ca. 17 mm high, fragile, semi-transparent, weakly inflated, subcircular, inequivalve and inequilateral, posteriorly slightly oblique, right valve somewhat more convex than left valve, auricles nearly equal in size, umbonal angle ca. 120 degrees, colour whitish. Left valve with numerous radial rows of curved commarginal vesicular lamellae. Right valve with commarginal lirae. Byssal notch small, byssal faciole laking. Internal ribs 12-13, with one or two rudimentary riblets. |
