| Description | Shell up to ca. 10 mm high, fragile, transparent, weakly inflated, circular, equivalve and equilateral, auricles nearly equal in size, umbonal angle ca. 90-100 degrees, brightly translucent coloured. Both valves smooth and glossy. Anterior and posterior auricles gradually transitionally developed into disc without demarcating disk flanks. Byssal notch weakly indented, bssal fasciole rather broad. Functional ctenolium with ca. 10 teeth. |
