| Description | Shell small up to ca. 8 mm high, fragile, semi-transparent white, inflated, circular, wider than high, inequivalve, nearly equilateral, auricles somewhat unequal in size and shape, umbonal angle ca. 110 degrees, colour whitish. Left valve smooth and glossy near umbonal region, disc sculptured with widely spaced (closer near margin), commarginal lamellae, irregular spaced weak radial riblets antero-marginally. Auricles with commarginal delicate lamellae. Right valve with regularly spaced, fine commarginal lirae. Byssal notch relatively deep, byssal fasciole narrow. Internal riblets 14 with 2 rudimentary. |
