| Description | Shell small up to ca. 8 mm high, fragile, semi-transparent, strongly inflated, almost circular, wider than high, almost equilateral, auricles nearly equal in size and shape, umbonal angle ca. 100 degrees, umbonal region whitish opaque and scattered white spots near ventral region. Left valve smooth and glossy, very weakly undulated in early growth stage. Weak commarginal growth lines near ventral margin. Auricles with very weak commarginal lamellae. Internal riblets 19, plus 3 small rudimentary interstitial riblets [Right valve not yet found] . |
