| Description | Shell small up to 1.5 mm high, fragile, subcircular, weakly posteriorly oblique, inequivalve and inequilateral, left valve strongly convex, right valve weakly inflated, auricles slightly equal in size and shape and continuous with disc, translucent white. Left valve sculptured with very strong, ventrally sloping commarginal lamellae and weak radial riblets with strong, rounded, fingernail-like scales at intersections.Right valve with outer layer of commarginally elongate, hexagonal prisms. Internal riblets lacking. |
