| Description | Shell small up to ca. 7 mm high, fragile, semi-transparent white, inflated, circular, slightly higher than wide, left valve slightly more convex than right valve, inequivalve, nearly equilateral, auricles strongly unequal in size and shape, umbonal angle ca. 100 degrees. Left valve sculptured with 14 widely spaced, commarginal lamellae and delicate widely spaced, radial riblets. Anterior auricle with commarginal delicate lamellae. Right valve with regularly spaced, fine commarginal lirae. Anterior auricle strongly sculptured near lateral margin with commarginal lamellae. Byssal notch relatively deep, byssal fasciole narrow. Internal riblets 12 commencing in late growth stage and extending to the submarginal region. |
